Celebrity Status!
Cheetahsden's Tsunami Kumate, (sister to Sundancer and Terza):
Now owned by Barbara Mandrell, beautiful Kumate is making her debut on
both TV and in magazines. While I'd love to tell you it's because she's
such an incredible looking Bengal (which she is!! - though I may be a bit
prejudiced) that the TV and magazine folks are panting after her, truth
to tell, she's just lucky enuf to be owned by Barbara Mandrell (who the
TV and Magazine folks ARE panting after!). She was on TV on 19 August on
Celebrity Homes on TNN and featured on Hchannel's "At Home with Barbara
Mandrell" (don't know when), on the cover of The Pet Tribune (I think
it's the October issue, but if anyone sees it, let me know!) and featured
in an interview with Barbara Mandrell in the October issue of CatFancy
(on the newstands the first of September).

Supreme Grand Champion Cheetahsden's Sundancer: This gorgeous
boy, full brother to Cheetahsden's Kumate, now has several litters of Cheetahsden's
kittens on the ground out of Heritage Meme of Cheetahsden, Cheetahsden's
Copper Princess, Cheetahsden's Mafdet, Cheetahsden's Crescent Moon, and

Hakan's gone "Down Under!"

Supreme Grand Champion Cheetahsden's Hakan: Owned by Suzanne
Hatcher of Tijah cattery and living in Australia, Hakan is siring kittens
and being a great Bengal ambassador wherever he goes. With his exotic rosettes,
wild type, and laid back show attitude (rolls on his back and waves to
the audience), Hakan is turning heads and winning hearts at every show
he goes to.
We are proud to announce that Cheetahsden's Hakan has been
presented with 4th Best Cat Award for 1998 in Australia, as well
as achieved what would be equivalent to Supreme Grand Champion status here
in the States. Many thanks to Susan Hatcher, his proud owner, and the wonderful
judges who saw Hakan's sterling qualities and continually placed him "Best
in Show"!

ooppps! Mom Was Embarassed!
Champion Cheetahsden's Kai, now finished with the show ring
after his one full show. His choice, not mine. After taking Best Cat in
his one and only Congress and getting another final, Kai decided that,
while he loved the people, strange cats terrified him and he started yodeling.
His embarrassed owner (yours truely) could only take so much of that! So
he's home for good, cuddling with the kids and siring kittens. Kai's page.
Supreme Grand Champion!
Supreme Grand Champion Cheetahsden's Taya (also sister to
Sundancer and Terza): Now living with Roger Plenger and Russell Owens of
High Veldt cattery, Taya has, in her demur way, been moving quickly through
the showring and has achieved her quad in five shows. Infact, pretty Taya
topped off her show career by achieving the Northwest Region Best Brown
Spotted Bengal, 2nd Best Bengal, and 14th Best Shorthair Cat for the 1998-1999
show year!
