CheetahsDen's Sabu
F2 - Lynx Point Spotted Foundation Bengal FEMALE
As many of you know, snows are not my particular cup of tea and I rarely keep them for my breeding program (see Isha's page). However, when you've spent as many years as I have breeding f1's, and get as few f2 girls as I've gotten, you don't complain if your newborn f2 girl isn't exactly what you want. Top that off with a gestation period of a whopping 70 days, the last "gift" to me from Triple Grand Champion Cheetahsden's Hakan, (Kumari was bred the day before Hakan flew to his new home in Australia), and all I could say was, "No matter what she looks like, she's a keeper!" How could I know this one solitary, scrawny little white mewling born in my cupboard by my desk would turn into this. Lucky me! Meet Cheetahsden's Sabu (Tibetan word for snow leopard), my incredibly sweet, awesomely rosetted, silky soft, glittered, blue eyed "snow leopard lookalike" f2 girl born to my beloved soulmate, Cheetahsden's Kumari (Kabuki f1). We will be breeding Sabu to Kai this spring. Excited? YOU BET! Sabu is now retired.
Sabu, as do most snows, took awhile to develop her markings.
