Double Grand Champion CheetahsDen's Illusion
SBT Brown Spotted Tabby Bengal FEMALE - DOB: 8/10/99

Sire:  Champion Cheetahsden's Kai
Dam: DGC Cheetahsden's Terza

I knew she would stay when she was just a few weeks old. Normally I'm pretty slow at deciding who to keep and who to let go, but even from a wee one, I knew this girl was what I'd been waiting for from my very special DGC Cheetahsden's Terza and exquisitely rosetted Champion Cheetahsden's Kai. It was a visitor looking at kittens however, who pointed the way to her name. Having just seen f1's and f2s for the first time, they were exclaiming at the difference between the foundation cats and the sbts. And when this little girl ran by, my visitor triumphantly pointed her out and said, "and there's another foundation cat". I laughingly told them that it was "just an illusion, she's really an sbt". The name stuck, and Cheetahsden's Illusion she became.

As a kitten, Illy only made it to two shows, but still ended up as the Second Best Bengal Kitten in the NW Region for the 1999-2000 show season. (At her second show in Ohio, she took finals in 9 out of the 10 rings and finished the show with Best Bengal Kitten in Show, Best of the Best Shorthaired Kitten in show and 2nd Best of the Best Allbreed Kitten in show).

Illy became an adult in April and I'm having fun showing off my sweet girl (who also made Double Grand Champion in just two shows). Regardless of how she does in the show ring in the months to come, I'm prouder than I can say of this little "unglittered, not very colorful but oh so wild looking" daughter of my beloved Terza.
